American intimate apparel brand founded in Bridgeport, Connecticut by physicians Lucien and Ira De Ver Warner. Originally a corset manufacturer, the brand shifted focus to bras and underwear and co-developed Lycra with DuPont in 1959. Sold by PVH to Basic Resources in 2023, then acquired by WHP Global.
