French dermo-cosmetic skincare brand founded in 1931 in the spa town of Vichy, France, built around the town's volcanic spring water which is rich in 15 minerals and studied for its tolerability on sensitive skin. Vichy was formulated in close partnership with dermatologists from its founding and specialises in sensitive and reactive skin solutions, including its Normaderm, Mineral 89, and LiftActiv ranges, and its widely recommended SPF sunscreens. Vichy is a subsidiary of L'Oréal's Active Cosmetics division, distributed primarily through pharmacies and beauty drugstores in Europe and globally.
