Fashion
American menswear brand founded in 2011 by designer Todd Snyder in New York City, drawing on his prior experience at Ralph Lauren, Gap, and J.Crew where he led menswear design. The brand launched at Bergdorf Goodman and quickly gained recognition for its blend of American workwear, Savile Row tailoring, and vintage military influences. American Eagle Outfitters acquired the brand in November 2015 for $11 million — Snyder described the sale as a lifeline when the brand was generating roughly $2 million in revenue — and has since grown it into a fully DTC-focused label generating over $130 million annually across 25 stores and a direct e-commerce channel.
