Swiss luxury watchmaker and jeweller founded in 1874 in La Côte-aux-Fées, Switzerland by Georges-Édouard Piaget. The Maison built its reputation on ultra-thin movements — including records for the thinnest mechanical and automatic calibres — and pivoted successfully into jewellery in the 1950s, becoming one of the few houses equally celebrated for watches and high jewellery. Piaget's signature collections include Altiplano, Polo, and Possession. Richemont acquired Piaget in 1988 through its Cartier holdings.
