Fashion
Spanish independent fashion project founded in Barcelona in April 2014 by Paloma Lanna, the daughter of the founders of Spanish fashion brands Globe and Nice Things Paloma S — giving her a lifelong immersion in fashion, colour theory, and small-scale production. Lanna launched the project initially as a limited edition of numbered sweatshirts printed with her own analogue photography, selling out online on day one with visitors from 69 countries. Paloma Wool has since grown into a globally recognised brand characterised by its vibrant Mediterranean colour palette, hand-crafted fabrics, genderless sensibility, collaboration with local Barcelona artisans and artists, and a deliberate rejection of conventional fashion industry structures. The brand produces in small batches using local Spanish ateliers, emphasising quality over volume and transparency in its supply chain. Paloma Wool gained a cult following through Instagram and opened its first permanent retail locations in Barcelona and New York in 2025. The brand operates as a fully independent, unfunded creative project.
