Old Navy is owned by Gap Inc..

American value-focused apparel brand created by Gap Inc. in 1994, initially developed as an accessible, family-oriented alternative to the Gap brand, drawing on the success of Gap's warehouse outlet format. The brand was named after a bar in Paris and positioned around affordable, trend-relevant casual clothing for the whole family. Old Navy became Gap Inc.'s largest revenue generator, contributing over $8 billion in annual net sales — more than half of the entire company's revenue. In 2019, Gap Inc. announced plans to spin Old Navy off as an independent public company, but reversed course in January 2020. The brand operates over 1,200 stores primarily in North America.
