Fashion
American premium denim and lifestyle brand founded in Los Angeles in 2010 by Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, both veterans of the premium denim industry — Kaeding from 7 for All Mankind and Gap, Becker from Citizens of Humanity. The brand is known for its ultra-soft fabrics, irreverent personality, and California 1970s-influenced aesthetic, naming its styles after evocative personas rather than conventional fits. MOTHER produces the majority of its denim within a 14-mile radius of its Los Angeles studio, and has expanded from denim into sportswear, outerwear, and accessories across four annual collections.
