French niche perfume house founded in Paris in 2009 by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian — known for creating Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Mâle and Narciso Rodriguez For Her — and entrepreneur Marc Chaya. LVMH acquired the maison in 2017, and Kurkdjian was subsequently appointed master perfumer for Parfums Christian Dior in 2021. The brand's Baccarat Rouge 540 became one of the most widely discussed fragrances of the 2020s.
