Lanificio Zegna is an independent company.

The original Zegna wool mill founded in 1910 by Ermenegildo Zegna in Trivero (now Valdilana), Piedmont, and the foundation of the entire group. Lanificio Zegna produces superfine wool fabrics that supply both the Zegna fashion label and third-party luxury houses. It remains headquartered at the site of the founder's original mill and is the anchor of Zegna's vertically integrated textile supply chain.
