Canadian sustainable apparel brand founded in Toronto in 2015 by Rami Helali, Benjamin Sehl, and Mackenzie Yeates, built around the premise of producing high-quality Egyptian cotton basics at accessible prices while paying fair wages throughout a transparent supply chain. Kotn sources its cotton directly from farms in the Nile Delta and manufactures entirely in Egypt, eliminating middlemen to control quality and traceability. The brand operates as a certified B Corporation and has used a portion of revenue to fund the construction of over a dozen schools in Egyptian farming communities. Kotn expanded into the US market with physical retail in New York and Los Angeles alongside its direct-to-consumer e-commerce business, and is headquartered in Toronto.
