French luxury house founded in Paris in 1717 by gunsmith Louis Pigny near the Palais-Royal, supplying ceremonial arms to the French royal court for nearly two centuries. The house supplied weapons to Louis XV, Louis XVI, and Napoleon I, and adopted its current name Fauré Le Page in 1865. After remaining in family ownership until 1913, the house eventually fell dormant. Augustin de Buffévent acquired the brand in 2012 and repositioned it as a luxury leather goods maison, reinterpreting its military heritage through handbags, accessories, and canvas goods under the motto "Armé Pour Séduire."
