Beauty
Italian luxury home fragrance brand founded in 1983 in Florence by pharmacist Paolo Vranjes and his wife Anna Maria as the Antica Officina del Farmacista, initially offering cosmetics and spa treatments. Vranjes launched the Rosso Nobile home fragrance in 1999, and rebranded the company as Dr. Vranjes Firenze in 2008, positioning it around premium reed diffusers in octagonal bottles inspired by Brunelleschi's Dome. The brand is renowned for its "Made in Florence" artisanal ethos and holds approximately 13% of the high-end diffuser market. Private equity firm Bluegem Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in 2017, before Groupe L'Occitane acquired the brand in July 2024 for an estimated €150 million.
