Byredo is an independent company.

Swedish luxury fragrance and lifestyle brand founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham, who built the brand around translating memories and emotions into scent. Byredo expanded from fragrance into leather goods, makeup, eyewear, and home fragrance. Puig acquired a majority stake in May 2022 for a reported ~€1 billion; Gorham remained as Chief Creative Officer until June 2025. Puig acquired 100% of Byredo concurrent with its 2024 IPO.
