Beauty
South Korean beauty and lifestyle company founded in Seoul in October 2014 under the name Innoventures, later rebranded as APR. Founded by CEO Kim Byung-hoon and co-founder Ju-Gwang Lee, the company operates six consumer brands across skincare, beauty devices, haircare, nutrition supplements, streetwear, and entertainment. APR built its reputation as a D2C-first digital company, generating over 70% of sales through its own online platforms. Its pivot to beauty technology in 2021 with the launch of Medicube AGE-R at-home devices drove explosive international growth, making APR South Korea's most valuable cosmetics company by market capitalisation by 2024. APR went public on the KOSPI in February 2024 under ticker 278470. Revenue reached ₩723 billion in 2024, with overseas sales accounting for approximately 80% of total revenue.
