Fashion
American contemporary luxury womenswear brand founded in New York in 2002 by Stacey Bendet, who started the business around a pair of slim-cut trousers she designed for herself. Theory founder Andrew Rosen joined as a business partner shortly after launch. The brand is known for its whimsical prints, bold color, and feminine silhouettes across ready-to-wear, eveningwear, footwear, and accessories. It operates over 60 boutiques globally and distributes through 800+ wholesale accounts. SK Holdings, the South Korean conglomerate, took a minority stake. Bendet remains CEO and Creative Director.
